Recall the powerful impact of our 2025 conference at Pujehun District Council Hall, on the theme: "Transforming from District to National: The Role of Youth in Nation Building". In a bid to continue to provide a sovereign existence for the people of Pujehun district, and to re-position them in the economic limelight, the Former Speaker of ECOWAS Parliament, Rt. Hon. Dr. Sidie Mohamed Tunis, pledged a donation of $300,000 United States dollars towards the U Team SL Development Trust Fund, in line with the Six-Year Strategic Development Plan (2024-2030). He equally highlighted his work and contributions towards the developmental growth of the district and called for sustained peace and unity among descendants. He also submitted tangible reasons for the inadequate coordination and collaboration among descendants of Pujehun district, which is a responsible factor for the many divisions and duplications in progress. He finally provided solutions on how we can collectively contribute to the developmental growth of Pujehun district in the areas of peace, unity, development, and sustainability across all sectors of development programs. This video captured some relevant aspects of his participation and statement, which will serve as a solid tool to re-position the district in terms of development for a stock-taking engagement, implementation, and transformation of the district's image into sustainable development, through the involvement and participation of young people, government officials, members of Parliament and council, traditional leaders, and stakeholders.
