Monkey Life S14 Full Season: Monkey Life – Series 14 follows the ongoing work at Monkey World despite the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. Alison rescues ‘The Simpsons’, a family of marmosets from Liverpool, soon joined by twin babies as mum Marge was pregnant. She also collects Gizmo, a Geoffroy's marmoset from Nottingham, whose owners couldn’t provide proper care. Positive news arrives as the government announces plans to end the legal primate pet trade in England. Alison and Jeremy respond to a call from Borth Wild Animal Kingdom in Wales, rehoming two patas monkeys and two capuchins after the park loses its wild animal license. Another capuchin, Dodger, arrives after 25 years in private care, now in need of companionship. Kalu, the chimp rescued from South Africa, faces serious health issues. Surgeons remove her gall bladder, but the team must make a difficult decision. Chimp Jestah undergoes surgery for a malignant lip tumour, successfully removed by vets John Lewis and Dave Harding. Tragically, John Lewis passes away shortly after, leaving the team mourning a dear friend. At Malagasy, ring-tailed lemur Kaiyah is attacked by her group and removed for recovery, while male lemurs battle for dominance. The park executes its largest chimp move, swapping Bart’s troop and the Bachelor boys to ease tensions. Orangutans Lucky and RoRo clash during reintroduction, prompting big male Tuan to intervene. Eventually, peace returns. Two woolly monkey mums, Pacaja and Eva, welcome babies, while Bueno Junior clashes with alpha Levar and needs stitches. The season ends on a poignant note as Alison and the team say goodbye to Zoe and Jimmy, two of the original nine chimps, who pass away after decades at Monkey World.
