Um… g-get it? Nothing like a pleasant afternoon with a best friend!

A little note: I was originally planning to have Sonic and Tails on opposite sides of the table because I thought it’d be more unique to have Tails at the left and Sonic at the right, but I flipped this whole picture (to sonic being at the left and tails at the right) to do the line art on so I could get used to that side and it won’t look weird to me in the end.

But then I forgot to flip it back to the planned side. That’s where I ended up finishing this with Sonic at the left when he was originally going to be at the right. But it’s okay. I’m just going to accept it because I’m still proud of the result.

The people in the background are just random Sonic characters I made up just now. I gave them random names and I kind of like them. So maybe I’ll use these characters in another background again. Berry the Cat is the pink cat who is a young woman carrying food in white cloth bags. The two wolves in front of her are a brother and sister. The bright green one is the boy. His name is Celery. And the dark green is the girl. Her name is Bamboo.
