Then came Choepessa IV under Carl. Automatons caught in his kind of fight never walk away. Turrets, mines and something extra in the air made the machines crumble faster than usual. Carl pressed until the field was quiet, only wreckage smoking in the dark. People started saying the explosions didn’t look natural, like something was chasing the enemy down. Nobody asked Carl. Nobody dares.
