A teleprompter is a display device that prompts the person speaking, with an electronic visual text of a speech or script.
The screen is in front of, and usually below, the lens of a Video camera, and the words on the screen are reflected to the eyes of the presenter using a sheet of clear glass or a specially prepared beam splitter.
Light from the Person speaking passes through the front side of the glass into the lens, while a shroud surrounding the lens and the back side of the glass prevents unwanted light from entering the lens.
Because the speaker does not need to look down to consult written notes, or Cue cards, the teleprompter creates the illusion that the speaker has memorized the speech or is speaking spontaneously, looking directly into the camera lens.

Materials needed:
• Photo frame with Glass
• Plywood / timber
• Aluminium bar
• Hinges, screws and Washers
• Black Paint
Tools Required:
• Wood Saw
• Hacksaw
• Drill and Drill bits
• Marker
• Clamps
• Bench Vice (To hold)
Steps involved:
• Get the Tools and Materials ready
• Remove the Glass from the Photo Frame
• Mark the Plywood using the Photo Frame
• Clamp and Cut the Plywood / Timber
• Clean the Cut Edges of the timber
• Fix the Hinges to the Timber and Photo Frame as the glass comes from inside
• Fix a thin sheet of timber to balance the hinge thickness
• Measure the sides of Frame
• Mark the Aluminium bar and cut to length, Clean the cut edges
• Copy the Frame measurements to the Aluminium bar
• Bend the Aluminium bar as per Dimensions
• Mark the Middle of the frame on to the aluminium bar
• Drill holes and Chamfer outer sides of the holes
• Fix the Aluminium frame to the Photo Frame using Screws and Washers
• Open the Frame assembly, Find the position for the screws to hold the Glass Roughly at 45 - 60 Degrees
• Fix to Screws that support the Aluminium frame
• Changed plan as the frame slips off the screws
• Marked, Drilled and Removed the Small bend edges from both sides
• Remove Screws from the top
• Assemble the Aluminium Frame
• Change the Screws from the top to the sides
• Check the Assembly if everything is ok
• Paint the whole assembly in Black and let it Dry for few hours
Stand to hold the Teleprompter Assembly:
• Microphone stand
• Timber holder to support the Teleprompter, made with a hole to hold on the Mic Stand
Testing:
• Set the Camera using Tripod
• Set the Teleprompter using the Mic Stand
• Adjust the Height of the Teleprompter to get the Camera lens in the middle
• Cover the Camera and Teleprompter assemblies with a Black Cloth so that no light is going to the lens through the sides and back
• Turn the Teleprompter app on the Mobile device and Try
• It is Working for my DSLR. (I used an App called Parrot Teleprompter. I am not here to Promote any App. You can use any App of your choice)
• Tested for my GoPro Camera with little bit of adjustment on Tripod
• Tested with my Mobile Camera
