2004 skidoo legend V 1000 .
The heat from the exhaust seized up the alternator bearings, causing the gear inside the side cover to snap/shatter. It is no longer available from OEM sources. Not sure what we’re going to do at this point
I am tearing down the side cover for all of you here on YouTube land.
There is no information online regarding this engine so here you go.
A big-torquey, four stroke V twin installed in utility and grand touring machines from 2003 to 2008.
