FCDO’s Disability Inclusion Team co-hosted a learning webinar with Inclusive Futures – FCDO’s flagship disability inclusion programme. The Rt. Hon Andrew Mitchell gave the opening speech, which explored the experiences and learnings of FCDO and Inclusive Futures staff and disability activists, from collaborating on disability-inclusive development projects.
Panellists also shared some of the successes and challenges they experienced when implementing the FCDO Prof Guide on OPD Engagement. Women OPD leaders highlighted the practical steps donors and NGOs could take to meaningfully engage OPDs – based on learning and evidence from the Inclusive Futures programme.
