Nigel Farage comments on United States' relationship with Australia

News Corp Europe correspondent Sophie Elsworth says Reform UK Leader Nigel Farage claims Australia’s relationship with the US would be “far more beneficial” under Opposition Leader Peter Dutton.

“He [Nigel Farage] said Peter Dutton obviously aligns far closer with his views with Trump than Albanese – and he really did, you know, call out the voice referendum, he called out Australia for its woke views,” Ms Elsworth said.

“A relationship with Australia would be far more beneficial with Peter Dutton in office, so he’s no fan of Albo, he loves Australia, he’s very fond of Australia.

“He is obviously on the side of Peter Dutton, to get into government which he thinks will benefit Australia’s relations with the US.”
