Uprooted is the opera we have commissioned for our Youth Company by Hannah Conway and Hazel Gould, inspired by Karen Gillingham's leadership as Creative Director of our Learning & Participation Programme.
The story shines a spotlight on the national housing crisis and its effect on children and is directly influenced by true stories. We spoke to Hazel, Hannah and Jo Spurling (from Bee Squad, a community organisation improving the lives of children affected by Homelessness) to find out more.
