In 1996, a cartoon debuted, drawing on the most unlikely of subjects: the world famous Las Vegas magic act of “Siegfried & Roy”.
The show titled, “Siegfried and Roy: Masters of the Impossible”, took place in a fantasy realm, where they existed alongside mythical gods, malevolent evil spirits, and REAL magic, about as far away as you could get from the real-life performers themselves.
If the show’s four-episode lifespan is any indication, it did not attract the number of viewers it wanted, but was that due to the show focusing on name recognition over quality storytelling? Or was there some real magic to this series?
