We toured up Raven’s Ridge to see how much new snow fell during the last few storms and to look for buried surface hoar. We found 4 to 8” of new snow that warmed up as the day progressed. We found the buried surface hoar about 1.5’ below the surface and it was unreactive in our stability tests. The biggest concern going forward will be wet avalanches as the sun is forecast to come out this weekend.
