In this video we explore Datastar's signals, which give you the ability to create and use front-end variables.
Signals can be used similar to AlpineJS or hyperscript -- great for use in hypermedia-based applications, including htmx (or of course, datastar).
As examples we create a counter and a drop-down, and provide the full code for a page with working tabs and a global toggle.
