9 Days Alone Crossing Tasmania's South West Wilderness (Full Documentary)

In this video I set out on a 100km trek across the untracked wilderness of Tasmania's South West. This trip will be following in the footsteps of the great explorer Sir John Franklin who in 1842 was the Governor of Tasmania. After having surveyor James Calder cut a 100km track though the heart of the inhospitable South West, Franklin and his wife Lady Jane embarked on a journey which led to many features of this unexplored area being named.
Join me, as I follow in the footsteps of these great pioneers and retrace the history of this once in a lifetime expedition.
