1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe for sale, one of 27,919 Deluxe coupes produced. This older restoration is finished in classic and desirable Monsoon Maroon with a stock, tan Deluxe Broadcloth interior and powered by its stock V8 paired with a standard 3-speed manual transmission. It is properly titled to the frame stamp with the clear, California title.

The classic Monsoon Maroon paint has a very nice shine. Being an older restoration some flaws are present and shown in the photos and video. The chrome is in very good shape along with the glass, lenses, and rubber. The undercarriage is in very good shape with no rust or rot. Overall this is a very presentable classic Ford ready to enjoy.

The 221 cubic V8 starts up easily, burns clean, and runs smoothly. The shifting is spot-on the brakes and suspension feel tight and responsive. The generator has been upgraded to an alternator which was recently rebuilt. The car rides on a brand new set of proper Coker Classic 600-16 whitewall tires. All in all, this is a very nice running and driving Deluxe Coupe.

The interior appears to be a proper LeBaron Bonney reproduction, well preserved, nicely installed, and very comfortable. It has nice seating, rugs, panels, door cards, and headliner. The gauges and switches are in good shape and work as intended. The radio has been upgraded with an auxiliary input including tone and fader knobs below the unit under the dash. Please note, the wipers are inoperable. The trunk is nicely finished as well and includes the spare and jack.
