TOMA AIRWAYS
Julie was in Goroka, trying to get a flight to her home, Poro Village at Toma, ENBP, PNG. It was a peak period and there were many flight cancellations. As Julie went through the difficulty of trying to book a flight home, she imagined if only she had her own plane that would be available immediately. She imagined it to be faster than Talair and AirNiugini at that time, that she would be able to fly home as quickly as possible. And she would call it Toma Airways. She also imagined she had a runway at her residential home, Poro which she would come to land on. She had all that but – “Only In The Dreamworld”, she says.
Song comes from Julie's 2nd Solo Album, "TAVURVUR".
Album recorded in 1990 at the Pacific Gold Studios, Rabaul.
This album earned her the then, PGS Gold Award for most produced cassettes sold PNG-wide and in parts the pacific.
