This video I will quickly show you how to do a emergency repair with the existing service valve pistons or when replacing with new service valve pistons to stop vacuum leaks internally through service valves to atmosphere. Even though you should not be trying to draw a deep vacuum using refrigerant manifold gauges with refrigerant hose there are too many connections to leak and refrigerant hose is not rated to pull deep vacuums. But is that is all you have then make do with what you have and do the best job you can by compensating for some of its deficiencies like Leaking service valves using silicone grease to stop the vacuum leaks another substance you can use is Nylog but I find that to be a little messy But it also works excellent.
