YORUBA TODAY:- THE BURIAL OF LATE SOUN OF OGBOMOSOLAND (His Imperial Majesty. Oba Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungbade III)
A first class monarch from Oyo State, the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Oladunni Oyewumi, Ajagungbade III, diëd yesterday at the age of 95 and was immediately buried according to Islâmic rites.
The monarch, who diëd around 2am, was buried in obedience to Islâmic injunctions at about 4:30pm inside a vault within the palace.
He reigned for 48 years.
The bürial prayer was conducted by the Chief Imam of Ogbomoso, Tholiat Oluwasina Ayilara who said during is prayers that baba made him chief Imam of ogbomosoland on the 11-11-2021 and baba diëd on the 12-12-2021.
