Rocket MkII Boat Build Bonus Video - Making a Half Model
I am currently working on the keel parts for the Rocket MkII kit but in the meantime, whilst waiting for stock to arrive I thought I would do a little bonus video. Here I am CNC machining a half model of Rocket MkII.
The boat half model is carved from a solid block of wood, made up from layers of Sapele with a thin layer of Maple run through the middle and positioned along the waterline. I thought it would be a fun little project and interesting to see the boats lines on such a small scale, enjoy!
