Fantastically nostalgic and infinitely loving: Swedish-based illustrator Christl Vogl creates magical worlds full of talking animals and fairy children who live in mushroom houses. Her charming drawing style is reminiscent of the appeal of earlier glossy images from the poetry album. A little story in rhyme leads through the imaginative journey to the land of mushrooms, which is juxtaposed with the coloring motifs on the left-hand side. The book is printed on strong paper and thanks to the open spine, which is finished with fabric folds, it remains open without any problems. In the basics part, the mushroom children insist on giving a short introduction to the world of coloring and even have tips for special color effects with them.
