Today may have been the most pivotal day yet in the Karen Read retrial as one of her most-anticipated witnesses took the stand. ARCCA accident reconstructionist Daniel Wolfe took the stand and Hank Brennan went on the attack. Was this bold, expensive testing a win for Karen Read?

A new jury will decide Karen Read’s fate in the coming weeks.
The first Massachusetts jury deadlocked over whether Read murdered her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O’Keefe, by hitting him with her SUV. Read says she was framed by corrupt law enforcement protecting one of their own.
O’Keefe was found dead in the yard of fellow officer Brian Albert’s home in Canton. Prosecutors claim Read dropped him off at a party there—then struck him with her vehicle while leaving.
