BREAKING NEWS: NewPhotonics DOES IT AGAIN! They have shocked the photonics industry two years in a row at OFC Conference and Exhibition 2025 demoing their incredible speeds per channel using bare silicon modulators. This year NewPhotonics launched a new pluggable module: “the NewPhotonics equalizer”. It is able to “magically” flatten the spectral response of their LPO module.

In other news, NewPhotonics shared information from their customer CENTERA PHOTONICS INC. On Monday, Centera introduced the industry-first advanced DSP based 1.6 terabits per seconds (1.6T) transceiver module featuring the highly integrated NewPhotonics NPG10201 PIC transmitter-on-chip (TOC).
