In this clip, Kamaiyah speaks about losing her first friend Ronald Hall when she was 14. She explained that Hall's death stunned her because he was an innocent bystander when he was shot in his head. She went on to speak about losing other young friends after Hall's death, which made her hyper aware of her actions and surroundings. After speaking about persuing a rap career since she was 9 and landing her first big single, "How Does It Feel," in 2015, Kamaiyah emotionally recalled losing her best friend Cocaine James to cancer when he was just 23. She then spoke about making the song "For My Dawg" for James, which you can hear more about above.
