There are many ways to effectively protect buildings and their components from fire – one of them is by way of so-called intumescent (expanding) building materials: When exposed to the heat of a fire, they will expand all by themselves to form a thermally stable barrier ("foam body") that will seamlessly seal any joints and gaps.
Just watch our video to see how safe, convenient and easy it is to apply our intumescent tapes: After cleaning the substrate (i. e. the surface on which you wish to apply the intumescent tape), all you have to do is remove the protective backing (liner) and apply the tape in the desired length. Then press it on – and you are done: After a couple of hours, the final adhesive strength is achieved, and your auto-responsive fire protection is ready to reliably stand in the way of any fire!
