Vicky and Golu bring her a vanilla cake, which Soha chops. The two of them flee before Dev notices them. In the meantime, Dev and Sonakshi make Soha a chocolate cake and deliver it to her. But according to Soha, they ought to have realized that she only enjoys vanilla cake. Soha cuts the cake with her parents to celebrate after Dev's mother helps her see that what she had said was incorrect. Later, just before leaving for her birthday celebration, Soha gets a last-minute call from her father. Sonakshi's failure to attend the birthday celebration worries Dev and Ishwari. Bijoy and Saurabh, meanwhile, argue that Sonakshi signed the checks carelessly, resulting in the legal notification. Sonakshi eventually shows up for the party with her family. But Soha won't cut her birthday cake until Vicky is brought to the celebration. Can Vicky be persuaded to do so by Dev? See for yourself. Vicky is thrilled to have accomplished his plan to leave Dev waiting for him at his house and skip Soha's cake cutting when he arrives to Soha's birthday celebration. But to his surprise, Dev was already there. Following Soha's cake cutting, Dev tells Vicky how he learned about his scheme and how Sonakshi had thwarted it. In addition, he informs Dev that he will not have a brother from this day on and gives him the paperwork for a business he founded after Golu was born to ensure the future of Dev and his family.
