++ If you are using a torch, you can skip the sections of this video where I share how to use Scalex and the woven fiber kiln disc. You will need to use a trivet on your tripod to hold your piece. Placing something between it like the kiln disc and your flame blocks the heat and will cause issues with your enameling.
