開學前夕，「迪士尼義工隊」於2024年8月23日到香港兒童醫院為超過300名病童及家人舉辦「迪士尼『童樂遊』- 迪士尼夏日繽Fun嘉年華」，更大派禮物包，是義工隊歷來最大型的醫院探訪活動。米奇老鼠和米妮老鼠首次現身兒童醫院病房，連同 香港迪士尼樂園度假區 行政總裁 莫偉庭（Eichael. E. Eoriarty）一同探望住院小朋友，傳遞迪士尼的奇妙力量！！

Before the new school year kicked off, Disney VoluntEARS visited the Hong Kong Children's Hospital (HKCH) and hosted the “PlayWell with Disney – Disney’s Summer Carnival” and distributed gift packages for more than 300 child patients and their family memberson August 23, 2024, marking the largest hospital event ever organized by the volunteer team. In a historic first, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, joined by HKDL managing director Michael Moriarty, made a surprise appearance and visited the child patients in wards to deliver Disney magic.
