Rung to toll the passing of Brian Buttery this morning, 1939-2025. Long standing ringer in this tower, Verger at St Wulfram's Church, hand bell ringer, and a Police Officer of Grantham.

The Nine Taylors is rung on the day of the death to announce the passing; the tenor bell is rung thrice, three times for a man (two times for a woman), then the age of the person who has passed is tolled out.
