Solo In Africa's Most Dangerous Region (The Sahel) 🇳🇬

In this video I travelled to Kano, Nigeria’s Islamic capital. This city isn't for the faint hearted at it sits in the Sahel — a region with more terror killings than the rest of the world combined. The headlines read bombs, kidnappings, and drug use. But what’s the truth on the ground?

I wandered through chaotic markets, centuries-old dye pits, and crocodile-skin tanneries that supply luxury brands. I met kids selling secondhand syringes and barbers offering miracle cures.

You would be forgiven for thinking the issues get the better of the locals, but that is far from what I found out during my time here.
