This video is the review of the pre-production OrcaTorch D920 Cordless Primary Light due to be released in Feb 2025.
This light boasts a massive 5,000 lumens an is the first decent option to replace the corded cannister light.
This light comes with a Goodman handle as well as a Handheld grip, both options are good, my preference is for the Goodman handle.
This cordless primary light is a great addition to the D620 & D630 cannister lights and gives you an alternative to minimise the amount of equipment you have to manage while diving.
I have dove this light with both handle configurations and have become comfortable with it's use & operation.
It is hard to understand just how bright & powerful this new light is.
The light wont be for everyone, it will be too much for some divers & other divers may prefer the corded cannister, but it definitely stands out in the current market place, being twice as bright as it's competition, this is well suited for the Tech & Cave diver alike.
