Gravel KOM Showdown - Drake Deuel v Phil Gaimon

I'm sure by now everyone has heard of the fires in LA. As I type this the fire figthing efforts are still ongoing and focused on the area where this video was shot only 7 days ago. Everything in this canyon is now burnt to a crisp, but they have done a great job protecting houses in this area. Thank you firefigthers!
It's a shame to see almost all of the area where I ride, and where the majority of my earlier videos were shot, turned to ash. It is however much harder to witness so many homes being lost and lives changed forever.

Nature will bounce back quicker than we as a city will, and that is something to take comfort in. We need these areas of nature to find peace and get away from the troubles of our daily lives.
At least for now we have the memories of it, and a lot of cycling videos to remind ourselves of why it's so special. I'm glad I made the effort to film this before it went up in smoke. Some seriously impressive riding/suffering by @drakeuel up here too! Unfortunately his mic malfunctioned so there is only audio from me. The stats are from Drake.
