We have had an issue with one of our living room slides since August (it is now November) and as a result, have not been able to use that slide making the living room feel very small.
My best guess was that we have a broken shoe in the track, so I contacted Lippert and order a rebuild kit.
I have waited to get here to the Grand Design Owners Rally so that I will have access to the SRTs if I need to ask questions or something doesn't make sense while doing the repair.
After getting the Schwintek out of the rig and opened up, I found that the issue was three broken Gibbs and not the shoe. One of those Gibbs was even missing.
Lippert says that this is non-repairable, but we did "emergency" repairs to allow the slide to be reinstalled and usable until we can receive a new one and do a proper repair.
