Globally, almost 𝟳𝟬𝟬𝟬+ different languages are in operation.

In Nepal, more than 𝟭𝟮𝟯+ languages are being spoken and some of them are on the verge of extinction. The good news is, according to the data by the Language Commission of Nepal, 8 new languages have been registered, recently. ( Please refer to the full video for 8 recently registered dialects.)

About 𝟰𝟰% of total demographics consider Nepali Language as the mother tongue. Then comes, Maithali, Bhojpuri, Tharu and Tamang following the list.
