If you want to set up a reef tank and stave off the ugly phase and keep your tank looking pristine. In this video I cover the method I use to ensure algae stays out of my system.

*Note add snails and cleaning livestock when your system is ready for them adding a lot of snails and CUC from day 0 start could cause theme to starve. Note: I added my snails when the ugly phase hit and not before it hit. Alternatively, just feed the snails until algae comes along and let the snails do the rest.
