28 Days Later | Day 22 – Chest, Shoulders & Triceps (Final Week Intensity)
Day 22 of 28 Days Later, and we’re officially in the final week of this John Meadows–inspired Mountain Dog training program, facilitated by Morgan Smith of Mind2Muscle Personal Training. The volume is high, the intensity is higher, and every rep matters now.
Today’s focus was chest, shoulders, and triceps, attacking each muscle group with precision, stretch, and controlled overload. We opened with incline dumbbell presses and incline bench press, driving upper-chest strength and thickness under constant tension. From there, we moved into machine flyes, keeping the pecs loaded and stretched, then finished chest with stretch push-ups to fully empty the tank.
Shoulders followed with a focus on balance and stability — machine rear lateral flyes to light up the rear delts, paired with side lateral raises to cap the shoulders and round out delt development.
Triceps closed out the session with close-grip bench press for heavy compound overload and seated overhead extensions to stretch and finish the long head of the triceps.
This is late-stage Mountain Dog training — no wasted movement, no ego lifting, just execution, intent, and pain with purpose.
Another hard-earned session in the books as we push through the final stretch of 28 Days Later.
