Star Wars X-Wing vs Tie Fighter: Raid on Goibniu Platform B-Wing Blue PoV All Goals Hard Difficulty

The mission description is a tad short, apologies.

This is a very bizarre one. It is one of those missions that punishes the player for being too good. Once you destroy 66% of the Tie Fighters, the Heavy Lifters will immediately arrive, meaning that if the platform is not disabled/destroyed by that time you instantly lose the mission, as the remaining Ties and the platform will immediately annihilate them. I do not know this mission is possible in a Z-95, as you would have to destroy all of the Tie Fighters from Beta, hope that the Y-Wings disable the platform before they all die, and then destroy Tie Fighter group Alpha.

The B-Wing however, makes it rather trivial. Simply disable all the Ties, then help with the platform, then destroy all the Ties and hangar camp subsequent waves. The tricky part is killing the reinforcing gunboats before heavy lifter group 5FNGR finishes docking. You only have from the time that they arrive to kill 12 gunboats, all with 200% shields; once 66% of the Lifters complete their mission the gunboats will head to hyperspace, which is very near their arrival point, and no more waves will arrive. I had a 10 second gap between the arrival of the last gunboat and the mission completing, so timing windows are very narrow.

Note: The heavy lifters will fly through the platform on arrival, causing them to explode in most cases. In this case it did not, I do not know why.

Heavy Lifter group 5FINGR: 66% destroyed

Bonus: 2000 Platform Type 2 Goibniu Depot: inspected
Bonus 10000 Platform Type 2 Goibniu Depot: destroyed
Bonus: 5000 Container Type E XI 1-6: 5000 points for each one bagged(captured)
Bonus: Up to 1000 points per each ship of Assault Gunboat group Rho destroyed (250 for light damage, 500 for assist, 1000 for full kill)
