This video presents the summary of Grade 12 Compulsory English’s Literature Section’s short story titled “Neighbours.” We have summarized the story in Nepali language explaining in a short and simple manner. The writer was born on 4 August 1960, in Subiaco, Western Australia. He is widely recognized as an Australian writer whose novels, short stories (including Neighbours), kid’s books and non-fiction books are mostly popular. One of his famous achievements include earning the Living Treasure by the National Trust of Australia in 1997. He is also the receiver of four Miles Franklin Awards.
The short story titled “Neighbours” by Tim Winton is about false judgement. The story presents the concept of human relationship that is beyond linguistic and cultural barriers.
