As the ground lease for the new Aloha Stadium moves forward, the stadium’s demolition begins later this month and the project’s completion date has been pushed back to March 2029. The original August 2028 date was described as a bit ambitious and aggressive. The new stadium was set to have 25,000 seats which was reduced to 22,500 seats.
