Anything to do with our feelings or our emotions can be sensitive, intricate and delicate. Matters of the heart can be very deep and it’s not always easy to find a quick fix when our hearts are aching.
We can’t always explain things of the heart. For instance, why is it sometimes difficult to forgive those close to us yet easy to forgive others? Why do we sometimes have unconditional love for those hurting us deeply? There are many questions around the heart and many of these take time to understand and to answer.
Many of us have been there, where you find yourself having feelings for someone. Most of the time, these feelings creep on you. Before you know it, you’re thinking about this person all the time. When you want to go somewhere, you wonder if you’ll meet that person there. When you’re sitting quietly by yourself, you feel an urge to pick up the phone and call this person.
This is perfectly ok and is mostly a wonderful feeling. The challenge comes when you have feelings for the wrong person and now you have to work hard to get rid of those feelings.
