Forged Steel Split Cross - Free Template

This is my take on making Split Crosses. They are a variation of Crosses popularized by Swiss blacksmith Christoph Friedrich, sometimes called "Friedrich's Cross"

These can be made to look many ways, it's up to you. I pretty much flatten these but they look nice with some of the bend left in them from shaping as well. Hot chiseling instead of sawing also adds a lot of character; I plan on trying some that way too.

I have made a template that I use in my shop to make these out of different size materials.
Get a copy of that template from google+ page here, download it to print and don't use any page scaling.
