Once again we had a rainy Rally Velenje and that made the whole rally quite tricky! There was a big accident of crew #72 Mrevlje-Simčič (Honda Civic VTi) who locked up the wheels on the braking and flew a long way off the road, thankfully avoiding the spectators and the tree, and somehow without rolling it over! Both of them escaped without injuries.
In the end it was the Slovenian champ Rok Turk (i20 Rally2) who got the win but pretty close to him was Albert von Thurn und Taxis (Fabia Rally2), 22.9 seconds behind. 3rd placed Laszlo Fekete jun. (Fabia R5) was already more than 3 minutes behind.
