Day one of the Icarus X 2019. One of the most challenging paramotoring events I've ever done. Both physically and mentally, it stretched me.
The plan went to out the window within an hour as my fuel burn had gone from 4 lph to 6, as well as my secondary fuel bladder not having 10 litres in.
I'm really glad I entered the Icarus X, it stretched my comfort zone and also gave me the opportunity to see some wonderful places I wouldn't normally have seen.
Both this video and the next are dedicated to Jules Eaton who unfortunately lost his life on day 2. We will remember you Jules...Blue skies and calm winds.
