In this video, we introduce the use of microinjection experiments to model human diseases in zebrafish. To demonstrate the techniques, we microinject pathogenic bacteria into the blood or tissue of zebrafish embryos and larvae. This makes it possible to image the interactions between bacteria and immune cells in real-time.
