🌿 Welcome to my vlog on Delhi Zoo – The National Zoological Park! 🐅
In this video, I take you on a complete tour of one of India’s most iconic wildlife parks located in the heart of New Delhi 🇮🇳 — near Purana Qila on Mathura Road.

📍 About National Zoological Park (Delhi Zoo)
Established in 1959 and later designated as the National Zoological Park, this zoo spans around 176 acres and is home to over 1,300 animals representing nearly 130 species of mammals, birds, and reptiles from around the world. 🐘🦜🐊 It’s not just a fun place to visit — it’s a center for conservation, education, and wildlife breeding programs too, with successful breeding of tigers, rhinos, lions, and other endangered species.

🕒 Timings & Best Time to Visit
👉 Open:
• Summer: ~8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Winter: ~9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
🚫 Closed on Fridays every week.

📅 Best to visit in the morning or late afternoon for active animals and comfortable weather.

🎟️ Entry Fees (India 2025)
• Adults: ₹80
• Children (5–12): ₹40
• Children under 5: Free
• Senior Citizens: ₹40
• Foreign tourists and SAARC visitors have different ticket rates.
