Welcome to our enchanting rainy day adventure in Mana Village, the first Indian village before the Tibetan border. As the skies opened up, a mystical aura enveloped the serene landscape, setting the perfect stage for our journey.
Our first stop was the legendary Saraswati River. Shrouded in myth and mystery, this river is said to be one of the sacred tributaries of the Saraswati, which, according to Hindu beliefs, once flowed across the Indian subcontinent. Watching its powerful, gushing waters amidst the rain was a mesmerizing sight, evoking a sense of wonder. The sound of the river's flow, amplified by the rain, created a symphony of nature that felt almost otherworldly.
Next, we walked through the entrance gate of Swargarohini, a site steeped in ancient lore. According to the Mahabharata, this is the path the Pandavas took to ascend to heaven. The gate itself stands as a symbol of their epic journey, and walking through it felt like stepping into a chapter of history.

After soaking in the natural and spiritual beauty, we wandered into the quaint little market of Mana Village. Despite the drizzle, the market buzzed with life. We explored the charming shops, filled with local handicrafts, woolen clothes, and traditional artifacts.
Our rainy day in Mana Village was not just a journey through breathtaking landscapes, but also a deep dive into India's rich tapestry of history, mythology, and culture. The rain seemed to weave everything together, enhancing the mystical charm of this remarkable place. If you ever find yourself Badrinath, a visit to Mana Village is a must—rain or shine.
