Come learn more about two Detroit-based organizations supporting art and culture in our region. Christina deRoos, director of Kresge Arts in Detroit, will join us to talk about Kresge Arts, a program that supports artists with unrestricted awards (currently over $1M each year) and professional development opportunities and Imani Bonner, Program Coordinator at CultureSource, a member association for non-profit arts and cultural organizations. Christina and Imani will talk about their organizations, talk briefly about how they got into these roles, and share best practices for seeking funding.
