Here's how I disassembled my Porsche 356 axle tubes for complete inspection, repair, and restoration. Lot's of homemade tooling in this one and it took my three tries to press the housings off the axle tubes.
Also in this video, I show you how to disassemble the 915 differential carrier. My plan is to repurpose it into a pinion depth guage for my Porsche 741 transaxle. This should be interesting! Stay tuned.
