DIY Macrame For Beginners: Getting Started - How To Set Up Your Workspace (Horizontal)! Please see below for written instructions.
Hey guys! Today I’m going to show how I set up my horizontal workspace. This set up works really well for making macrame flowers, macrame earrings, and other smaller items.
I’m using a small cord board. You can purchase cork board (also called cork tile) from Walmart, Amazon, and other stores.
I attach my macrame to the cork board using push pins (also called map pins or map tacks). These can be purchased at Walmart, Amazon, sewing stores, and other stores.
As I start to create my macrame piece, I continue to add new pins wherever they are needed to hold my piece down to the board underneath.
