*뚝섬을 옛날에 뚝도라고 불렀는데 이곳에 있던 경마장이 과천으로 옮기기 이전인 1960년대부터 형성된 시장이다. 성동구 성수로에 위치하고 있으며,오래된 역사만큼이나 낡고 불편했던 시설들을 리모델링하여 깨끗하고 현대적인 시장으로 탈바꿈했다.

*Ttukseom Island was called Ttukdo Island in the past, but it was formed in the 1960s before the racetrack here moved to Gwacheon. It is located in Seongsu-ro, Seongdong-gu, and has been transformed into a clean and modern market by remodeling facilities that were as old and inconvenient as their old history.
