Forever and a Day w/ Clayton Stewart at Wintergrass

We are honored to share Clayton Stewart's beautiful and moving story.

In the midst of his family's infant loss, Clayton approached Jens, Uwe, and Joel backstage at Wintergrass with lyrics he had written in memory of his child. The Kruger Brothers not only asked to record this new version of the song “Forever and a Day”, but also invited Clayton to sing it live with them.

Clayton told us: “It was really one of the best moments I’ve ever had! It was awesome and heartwarming to see the level of caring, not to mention their musicianship is just off the charts. It truly did help to bring some relief and closure, I can’t explain why but it did…The caring and understanding from Jens, Uwe and Joel (who set it all up) was so nice, and then to play for and with me was just unbelievably helpful during a very hard time.”

We extend our sincere appreciation to Clayton for sharing this deeply personal and powerful chapter of his journey.
