In the early 2000's, the Avalon Airshow was a major event for railfans as well as aircraft enthusiasts. V/line would run a large number of specials to Lara, as well as extending consists on regular Geelong line services. P and N class were used in push-pull formation on double H sets, as well as N or A class hauled double N sets, and of course a number of 6 car VLocity sets. This footage was taken on the 24th of March 2007 around Little River and Lara. Parts of this video had been uploaded over a decade ago, but were very low quality. This is an extended and improved version.
